This shocking post-election promise by John Boadu changes everything today

Newly elected NPP National Chairman John Boadu extended a hand of partnership to former rivals while promising to rebuild grassroots structures.

In the wake of a fiercely contested leadership election, newly elected New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman John Boadu has formally launched an initiative to unite the party. Delivering his acceptance speech, Boadu explicitly extended an open hand of friendship and partnership to all former rivals, emphasizing that the party must immediately transcend campaign rivalries and align behind a shared national vision.

He insisted that internal elections produce no absolute winners or losers, urging members to view the NPP as a single, cohesive entity united around one purpose. Boadu outlined a comprehensive vision for his administration, pledging to build a modernized political organization that prioritizes listening, consultation, and deliberate grassroots preparation. He committed to establishing strong operational links with regional and constituency executives, Members of Parliament, and internal groups like TESCON.

Recognizing the changing landscape of public communication, the new chairman promised to deepen engagement across social media channels and traditional press networks, while putting young people and tertiary institutions at the core of the party's mobilization efforts.

Addressing party structures directly, Boadu emphasized that electoral victory can never be treated as an automatic entitlement, but must instead be earned through credible service, organization, and public trust. He committed his executive team to working alongside flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to strengthen the party's financial and administrative foundation, particularly at local constituency levels.

Calling on party faithful to reject factionalism, Boadu urged members to choose unity over division and organization over disorder. He concluded with a resolute declaration that his administration is fully prepared to restore the party's winning machinery and secure electoral victory in 2028.
