Announcing the global event during a press briefing, the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Stephen Yenusom Wengam, revealed that the historic summit will draw delegates from over 100 countries, with morning sessions expecting over 10,000 participants.
Highlighting the significance of the upcoming gathering, Rev. Wengam noted that this marks the first time in the fellowship's 115-year history that the triennial congress is being hosted on the African continent. Main morning proceedings and official ceremonies will be hosted at the iconic Black Star Square, while evening worship sessions and major public gatherings will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The three-day international congress is expected to boost religious tourism and showcase Ghana’s readiness to host major international conferences, bringing together global church leaders, policymakers, and thousands of believers to the capital city.
