Management of La Pleasure Beach Resort has assured vendors, patrons, and the public that operations will resume at the popular coastal facility within three weeks.

The announcement follows the recent military-backed demolition exercise that flattened several business structures and recreational setups along the La beachfront in Accra.

Speaking to reporters, management representatives expressed determination to clean up the site, reorganize operators, and restore economic activity despite the recent operational setback.

The beach management emphasized that temporary arrangements are currently being developed to enable displaced vendors and local traders to resume their businesses quickly.

The massive clearance operation, executed by security personnel, generated intense public debate and drew criticism from affected business owners over lost investments and livelihoods.

In response to public outcry, state institutions like SSNIT clarified that security interventions were intended to clean, restore, and secure public beachfront spaces for safer recreational access.

Management noted that ongoing dialogue with local traditional authorities, local assembly leaders, and state agencies aims to ensure a smooth transition back to full operations.

They called on affected vendors and visitors to remain calm and patient while site restoration work and structural reorganization continue over the next twenty-one days.

Beach authorities reiterated their commitment to maintaining safety, improving sanitation standards, and providing an updated, organized environment for patrons upon reopening.
